I'm thrilled to share some news that's been a long time coming: San Diego Residential Property Management — known to many of you as SDRPM — has officially merged with Alta Vista Properties.

SDRPM was built from the ground up by Bob Davie and Sharyn over the last 14 years, and if you spend five minutes talking to either of them, you'll understand why this partnership felt right. They care deeply about their owners, they know their properties inside and out, and they've built the kind of trust with their clients that takes years to earn. That's exactly how we've always tried to operate at Alta Vista, and it's why bringing our two firms together felt less like a merger and more like a natural fit.

At the end of the day, this is a story about two family-run San Diego property management businesses that share the same values — personal attention, deep local knowledge, and a genuine commitment to the owners and tenants we serve — deciding they could do even more together than apart. Both firms are part of the Galaxy Strategy family, which has allowed us to invest in better technology and infrastructure while staying true to who we are.

Bob, Sharyn, Katie, and Mike — the team SDRPM owners already know and rely on — aren't going anywhere. They'll continue managing the properties and relationships they've built, now with the additional resources and support that come with being part of a larger team. Over the coming months, SDRPM owners will see upgrades to their systems, a new R&M experience, and the same improvements in reporting and response times that our Alta Vista clients have already begun to experience.

For our existing Alta Vista owners, this is good news too. A larger, stronger team in San Diego means more local expertise, more capacity, and an even deeper bench to support your properties.
