Jackie Alexander

President/ Owner

Alta Vista Properties has been a family owned business for over 30 years and Jackie is continuing the legacy of personalized service, great communication, and an attention to detail in all aspects of property management. Her knowledge of construction, remodeling, interior design and photography have played a large role in maintaining and marketing properties to get the highest and best price in the market while getting properties rented in a timely manner. Kathy Bueter

Agent/Property Manager

Kathy joined Alta Vista Properties in 2013. Born and raised in San Diego, Kathy has a sales and management background and is very detail oriented.  Offering personalized and excellent service is not only a personal attribute but one that the company retains as well.  Kathy is a Real Estate Licensee and manages properties in the North County coastal and inland areas such as Del Mar, Carlsbad, Carmel Valley, Poway, Rancho Bernardo, Carmel Mountain, 4S Ranch, and surrounding areas.


Shelley Eads

Maintenance Coordinator

Shelley joined our company in 2011 as a receptionist and has worked hard to earn her new role as our maintenance coordinator. In this role, she is in charge of making sure that your maintenance issues are handled as quickly and efficiently as possible. She also handles the move in and move out process to ensure that the properties are properly made ready for the next tenant. Shelley keeps owners well informed of any issues that will need owner approval for repair and works diligently with them to make sure all of their questions are answered.

Vicky joined our company in 2018 and has become a wonderful addition to the team. She greets everyone with a smile and is always ready to help. She is also in charge of scheduling showings, checking the references, and constructing the leases. She can also assist with general questions that a tenant or owner may have regarding a property or direct them to the person that can answer any further questions. She is ready to help!


Michaela Draper

Social Media Coordinator

We pride ourselves on being a family owned business for over 30 years, so adding Michaela to our team now adds a third generation! Licensed to sell, she is quickly learning all the ins and outs of property management, and she is bringing to the table what her generation does best: social media. She will be updating all your favorite social media sites, so look out for all the most recent vacant properties, unique articles, important updates, and helpful tips!
